The 2020 Lake County Film Festival Award Winners
The 2020 Lake County Film Festival concluded on November 16. Twenty-Three feature films and 21 short film programs, totaling over 100 titles were streamed over 13 days. Of the 45 film programs shown, 37 of them had filmmaker Q&A’s streamed live to YouTube & Fwacebook.
While current Illinois Covid-19 restrictions limit public gatherings to 25 people or less, the festival did have two public screenings at the Gorton Center in Lake Forest, IL.

Unfortunately, while one of our favorite things is our yearly list of the audience-ranked top 10 short films, many of our pass-holders did not respond to our audience ballot, or did not rank as many short films as in year’s past, so the results did not feel worth reporting.
