Sasha Joseph Neulinger’s father almost missed his birth. 

Henry was out shopping for a video camera. He filmed the happy times: from Sasha’s first steps to moonwalking at his bar mitzvah.  But no one knew that two hundred hours of home video also captured the dark story of an unraveling childhood, brave disclosures, arrests, confessions, and denial.  With these archives, the film steps into the life of a charismatic and precocious boy. It traces his path; falling, rising, refusing a violent inheritance, and finding a voice. 

The depth and veracity of that journey make Rewind a groundbreaking exposé on the origins and far reaching consequences of abuse.
